1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Shuna Bot ("the Bot", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects data when you use the Bot on Discord. By using Shuna Bot, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please remove the Bot from your server and discontinue use.

2. Data We Collect

Shuna Bot collects only the data necessary to provide its features. We collect two categories of data:

2.1 Clash of Clans Account Data

When you use any Clash of Clans related features of the Bot, we retrieve and temporarily process the following data from the official Clash of Clans API:

• Player tags and usernames
• Clan tags, clan names, and clan membership information
• Detailed clan information including clan level, clan war league, clan description, location, and clan settings
• Clan member lists including member player tags, usernames, roles (e.g. leader, elder, member), trophies, and donations
• In-game statistics such as trophies, league rankings, troop levels, and war history
• Attack and defense results, including stars earned, destruction percentage, and opponent data
• Ranked battle results, including Legend League and other competitive ranking data

This data is fetched in real time from the Clash of Clans API and is not permanently stored in our database unless you explicitly link your account (see Section 2.2).

2.2 Discord Account Data (Optional — Account Linking)

Shuna Bot offers an optional feature that allows you to link your Discord account to your Clash of Clans account. If you choose to use this feature, the following data is stored in our database:

• Your Discord User ID
• Your Clash of Clans player tag(s) associated with the linked account
• Whether the link was verified using a Clash of Clans API token or not

There are two ways to link an account:

• With API token (verified): You provide your in-game API token, which confirms that the Clash of Clans account belongs to you. This is the recommended method.
• Without API token (unverified): You provide a Clash of Clans player tag without any proof of ownership. Any user can link any player tag this way, meaning a tag may be linked to an incorrect or unrelated Discord account. Shuna Bot does not validate ownership in this case.

Account linking is entirely voluntary — you can use the Bot without linking your account.

2.3 Ticket Conversation Archives

Shuna Bot includes a support ticket system. When a ticket is closed, the Bot may archive the conversation from that ticket channel. The following data may be collected and stored as part of this archive:

• Discord User IDs of all participants in the ticket conversation
• Usernames of participants at the time of archiving
• The full content of messages sent within the ticket channel
• Timestamps of messages

Ticket archives are created solely for moderation and record-keeping purposes by server administrators. Archives are only accessible to authorised server staff, not to the general public.

If you do not wish your messages to be archived, you should refrain from participating in ticket channels on servers that use Shuna Bot's ticket system.

3. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Fetching and displaying your Clash of Clans statistics in response to Bot commands.
• Linking your Discord account to your Clash of Clans account when you request this feature.
• Improving the Bot's performance and diagnosing technical issues.
• Ensuring compliance with Discord's Developer Policy and applicable laws.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Bot.

4. Third-Party Services

Shuna Bot relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Clash of Clans API (developer.clashofclans.com) — used to retrieve in-game data. Your Clash of Clans player tag may be sent to this API when you use related commands.
• Clash King API (clashk.ing) — used to retrieve additional Clash of Clans statistics and historical data.
• Discord — the platform on which the Bot operates. Discord's own privacy policy applies to all interactions on their platform.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. Shuna Bot is not responsible for data handling practices of third-party providers.

5. Data Storage & Security

5.1 What is stored

Only the data described in Section 2.2 (Discord User ID and linked Clash of Clans player tags) is permanently stored in our database. All other data is processed in real time and not retained.

5.2 How long we store it

Linked account data is stored indefinitely until you request its deletion. You can unlink your account at any time using the appropriate Bot command, which will remove your data from our database.

5.3 Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect stored data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties, except as described below:

• Data is shared with the Clash of Clans API and Clash King API only to the extent necessary to fulfil your commands.
• Data may be disclosed if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

We do not share your Discord User ID or any linked data with other users or external parties.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to access — you may request information about what data we hold about you.
• Right to deletion — you may request deletion of your stored data at any time. You can also use the Bot's unlink command to remove your linked account data immediately. You may also request removal of your messages from ticket archives by contacting us.
• Right to restriction — you may ask us to stop processing your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via Discord (see Section 10). We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children's Privacy

Shuna Bot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be revised. Continued use of Shuna Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For significant changes, we will endeavour to notify users through the Bot or our support channel on Discord.
